AnTHM, an acronym for Art – Threads - HandMades, is a small art gallery in the heart of Black Mountain that features fine primitive to outsider art from artists throughout the southeast. In addition to wall art, AnTHM offers an array of handcrafted and locally made items including necksplashes, house bunnies & roller dogs, folk figurines & wooden folk-owls, FLAX-brand clothing, cards, Votivo candles, soaps, jewelry and one-of-a-kind funky gifts. With gifts starting at $7, there’s truly something for everyone at AnTHM. Proudly celebrating our one-year anniversary back in September 2011, “Black Mountain’s Gallery of Art” owes a multitude of thanks to our local supporters as well as the tourists who keep beautiful Black Mountain brimming with foot-traffic daily. Next time you’re in town please stop by to see the gallery, then look for more of AnTHM’s art at these local establishments: The Historic Monte Vista Hotel, Black Mountain Ale House…and in downtown Asheville, the Renaissance Hotel.
